How ASAP Installs looks after your details, in plain English.
Last updated: October 2026
ASAP Installs ("I", "me") is a small local business. This page explains what information I collect when you use this website or get in touch, why I need it, and your rights. If you have any questions, call or WhatsApp me on 07585 155557.
What I collect
- Your contact details: name, mobile number and postcode, plus your address and email if you give them to me for a job.
- Details of the job: the services you choose, your answers (such as TV size or number of cameras), when you'd like the work done, and any notes or photos you send.
- Quotes, invoices and payments for work I do for you.
Why I use it
- To reply to your request, give you a quote and arrange the work (this is needed to provide the service you asked for).
- To send invoices and keep business and tax records (a legal requirement).
- To follow up on a quote, send a payment reminder or, after a job, ask whether you'd leave a review (my legitimate interest in running the business). You can ask me to stop at any time.
I never sell your details or pass them to anyone for marketing.
Where your information goes
- WhatsApp / text message: when you send your request, it goes to my phone through WhatsApp (run by Meta) or your text messaging service.
- Cloudflare: this website runs on Cloudflare. When you press Send, a copy of your request is stored securely there so I can prepare your quote.
- CallMeBot: a short alert with your name, number and the job is sent to my own WhatsApp through this service so I don't miss your request.
- postcodes.io: if you use the postcode checker, your postcode is looked up on this free UK service to work out the distance. Nothing else is sent.
How long I keep it
- Website requests are deleted automatically after 6 months.
- If you become a customer, your details, quotes and invoices are kept for 6 years for tax and accounting reasons, then deleted.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may remember your text-size choice and, if you've booked before, your name, number and postcode so you don't have to type them again. This stays on your own device. I use Cloudflare's privacy-friendly visitor statistics, which don't use cookies or identify you. A Cloudflare security check (Turnstile) may run on the quote form to stop spam.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you the information I hold about you, correct it, or delete it (unless I must keep it for tax records). You can also object to me contacting you. Just call or WhatsApp me and I'll sort it within a month.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
